Trudeau’s proposed firearms legislation may actually reduce gun violence, especially in large cities like Toronto and Ottawa where violence committed with smuggled and stolen guns is increasing. While Canada’s problem is tiny compared to the U.S., similar nations like Australia and the U.K. suffer far less gun crime.

Below is a textbook example of corporate editors censoring inconvenient facts that contradict the dominant narrative on Israel/Palestine while they pretend to offer balanced coverage. The most dissonant information was “removed from inspection” since these gatekeepers deem the public unfit to respond in a suitable manner. The veracity of the missing information is therefore treated as a problem rather than a matter of public interest.

I welcome the possibility that Justin Trudeau may have mentioned past separatist violence in Quebec while discussing Sikh independence with India’s leaders. Hopefully, Trudeau’s alleged remarks will inspire public discourse on the darker aspects of Quebec’s persistent separatist movement. Since Canada’s political leadership seemingly ignores the consequences of endless pandering to Quebec’s discontents; I’ll take any excuse to examine these matters.
